Student proposals for a more sustainable and inclusive Malta offer a true vision for Malta

ADPD representatives met Eko-Skola Students who presented a memorandum to political parties with proposals on Malta’s future.

The students called for a more sustainable, safe, and inclusive Malta, with more open spaces, safer roads, and investment in sustainable transport. They also highlighted the need for greater accessibility for people with disabilities, stronger protection against bullying, and responsible investment in technology and artificial intelligence.

ADPD Deputy Secretary General and candidate on districts 2 and 8, Mario Mallia praised the students’ initiative that in spite of all the challenges they are faced with they managed to work on projects to put their own proposals in action.

ADPD PRO and candidate on districts 3 and 4, Brian Decelis, commended the students for not only detailing their proposals but ensuring that suitable timelines were indicated in order for these to be effectively implemented.

ADPD’s spokespersons said they were happy to note that the proposals put forward by the students were also being reflected in the manifesto presented by the party for these elections.

Both speakers encouraged the students to remain active and committed to such ideals while calling for true sustainability to be maintained resulting in future generations being able to make their own decisions.
