Small Nations Games: AD congratulates Maltese contingent

Alternattiva Demokratika – The Green Party congratulated the Maltese athletes and administrators for the the 29 medals, including 8 gold medals, in the Small Nations Games. Malta achieved 4th place overall.

Dirk Urpani, AD spokesperson for Youth and Sports, said: ” I would like to congratulate all participating Maltese athletes, officials and administrators who took part in the small nations games as participation in such events is of utmost importance for our athletes to test their abilities.”

Michael Briguglio, AD Chairperson, said: “AD is four-square behind initiatives which have given increased importance to sports, as these have helped bring about positive results. We augur that more investment and inclusive policies are put forward so that more people, irrespective of their background and status, can participate in sports”.
