AD marches in protest against animal cruelty

AD Chairperson Michael Briguglio and AD spokesperson Angele Deguara attended the symbolic silent protest march today in Sliema against animal cruelty to uphold one of AD’s basic principles of animal rights. AD also joins civil society in calling for harsher penalties for animal cruelty. The horrific attack on Star is an episode which clearly raised awareness on the issue of animal welfare and the need to revisit policies and laws. As a Green Party, AD gives top priority to animal welfare, as can be clearly seen in our electoral manifestos.
