Alternattiva Demokratika – the Green Party, through its Chairperson Michael Briguglio, pays tribute to Eritrean Ashih Tekleab Haile, who lost his life yesterday when he unselfishly went to the aid of two French youths who were in danger of dying.

“The altruistic sacrifice of Ashih is deep food for thought for all those Maltese xenophobes who consider migrants a threat to Maltese society”, stated Michael Briguglio.
