ADPD strongly condemns the threats on social media by a certain Anton Cutajar, an owner of a so-called zoo, on the Commissioner for Animal Welfare, Alison Bezzina.

ADPD Chairperson Carmel Cacopardo said: “Anton Cutajar feels entitled to threaten public officials because he says he is a supporter of the Labour Party. These are the kind of people who are used to using their partisan allegiances to get their way. This country is also replete with politicians who bend over backwards and let these people get their way, instead of standing up to them. All this has led to this country’s sorry state of affairs. Let Alison Bezzina get on with her work, whatever the likes of people like Cutajar say!”
