“Unstable Government Despite Parliamentary Motion Result” – AD

In view of the outcome of parliamentary vote, AD Chairperson Michael
Briguglio said that in view of the politically unstable situation in
the country, a general election should be held despite PL’s motion did
not garner a majority. Malta cannot be held hostage by a member of
parliament who is keeping the country guessing.

Briguglio said: “The current political crisis shows that the two
party system is bankrupt and that Malta should have a proper European
multi party democracy.
