In view of the publication of the first telephone calls between Sheehan and the Police Commissioner, Alternattiva Demokratika Chairperson, Prof. Arnold Cassola, stated: ” After the publication of the first telephone conversation, in the name of truth and justice, we expect all following telephone conversations to be published:
1. Between Sheehan and Manuel Mallia.
2. Between the Police commissioner and Manuel Mallia.
3. Between the Police commissioner and the Prime Minister.
4. Between Manuel Mallia and and the Prime Minister.
5. Between Manuel Mallia and Silvio Scerri.
6. Between Manuel Mallia and Kurt Farrugia.
7. Between Kurt Farrugia and Silvio Scerri.
8. Between Kurt Farrugia and the Prime MInister.”

AD reiterated that the most important aspect, which is being ignored by most commentators and politicians, of this whole mess is Manuel Mallia’s direct political responsibility in the matter. It is unheard of in normal democracies to have a Minister’s staff involved in a shooting, with the Minister brushing off responsibility.
