The Greens of New Zealand have obtained 11% of the votes in the national elections just held.  This is the highest ever score for the Greens in New Zealand.

In a letter to Co-Leaders Metiria Turei and Russel Norman, Prof. Arnold Cassola, Alternattiva Demokratika -The Green Party Spokesperson on EU and International Affairs, said that, following the great successes in Europe, including Germany and France, and Australia, this great score goes to show that Green way of doing politics is the way forward globally.

“The future in politcs is really green”, concluded Prof. Cassola.
